So, what do you do? Well, we print Fine Art reproductions using Giclée Printing, we scan people's work, we produce greeting cards and postcards. We also design and build website's - promotional ones, simple ones and complicate ones.
Wow, how long have you been doing all that then? Since 2002, so we have quite a few years experience. We have undertaken so many different projects for artists and photographers so we've become a very flexible company that can work with you to achieve the best results possible.
What is Giclée Printing? I've never heard of it! Giclée is pronounced 'Zhee-clay' and originates from the French verb gicler meaning "to squirt, to spray". Giclée is similar to your ink-jet printer at home but uses 6 (or more) different colour's instead of the 4 used in ink-jet printers and lithograph. Because Giclée uses light fast, pigmented inks (usually cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan, light magenta and black) the resulting prints are brighter, the colour's last longer and are higher in resolution. And it is this high resolution that results in sharper and more detailed prints. Giclée can be printed on to various media, from water colour paper to canvas to transparent acetates.
I've got a painting I would like reproduced, what is the process? You would first need to either send us the original artwork so we can scan it, a digital scan of your picture or a pre-scanned transparency. We would then produce a colour matched proof of your image for you to have a look at and if are you happy with that we can go ahead and print reproductions of your work.
I'd like some Greeting Cards printed too! We can do that at the same time, we will send you a different proof, this time your picture will be produced as a card - we do the colour matching for cards and the fine art prints separately as they are produced using a different method of printing, using different equipment.
How long do prints take? Proofs for Giclee Prints, Fine Art Greeting Cards and Postcards will usually take 3 - 4 days, your finished prints and cards will then take approximately a week to dispatch to you. Proofs for design jobs such as flyers and business cards will take approximately a week and another week for finished items.
I don't live very close to you, is that a problem? No, we have many artists from all over the UK who send us their work, we can post your proofs to you and we can keep you updated with your order via email or telephone.

I've got a digital file I'd like printed, how can I get it to you? You've got a couple of choices, either email it to us or send it over the Internet using a website called yousendit.com.
It's quite a big file! For any file over 100mb then it is best to burn it to a CD and post it to us at the following address;

What type of files do you accept? Have a look at the list of software that we use, the types of discs we can view and the file types that we can view. We recommend that you send us a 300dpi .tiff file in either RGB or CMYK.
